Last Call Foundation, Boston Sparks Truck Unveiling

On Sunday, September 27th the Last Call Foundation and the Boston Sparks Association held a press conference to unveil the brand new Support and Canteen Truck.

The Last Call Foundation provided a grant of over $232,000 to the Boston Sparks Association and also assisted in coordinating other large donations for them. The Support and Canteen Truck is a useful tool for the Boston Fire Department, Boston Police Department and EMS. It provides momentary respite from extreme conditions and an opportunity to relax overtaxed muscles, including their hearts, prevent exhaustion and mitigate stress. The new truck will be stocked to rehydrate, feed and even provide dry socks and gloves, which we hope will ensure that our firefighters are working in the best form possible. The grant for this truck has allowed a free service to help and support the brave Men and Women of Boston’s emergency services.

Thank you to all of our donors who have helped us achieve this significant milestone;

Boston Firefighters Credit Union, Survivor Tails Animal Rescue, Lewis Family Foundation, the Last Call Foundation 2015 John Hancock Boston Marathon Team, Ladder 15 Engine 33 House fund, South Boston Community Development Foundation, Elaine Lindy, Robert Bowers and David Mugar.
